Job Title: Data Analyst Data Mapping & Business Logic Validation
Role Overview
We are seeking a strong Data Analyst to support data integration and migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data mapping, business logic validation, and cross-platform reconciliation, ensuring accurate and consistent data flow across systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Source-to-Target (S2T) mapping for data migration and integration projects.
- Validate business logic and transformation rules applied during ETL processes.
- Conduct cross-platform data reconciliation to ensure data integrity between legacy and target systems.
- Document data flows, mapping specifications, and transformation logic in detail.
- Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain and update data dictionaries, metadata, and mapping documentation for governance and compliance.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in data analysis, data profiling, and data quality checks.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and validating data across multiple platforms.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g., Talend, Informatica, DataStage) and data mapping utilities.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and metadata management.
- Excellent documentation skills and ability to create clear mapping specifications.
- Knowledge of banking/financial domain (preferred but not mandatory).
