We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst to collect, analyze, interpret, and visualize data to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with modern data tools, and the ability to translate raw data into meaningful insights for business teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and prepare large datasets from multiple sources (databases, APIs, spreadsheets, cloud platforms).
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Excel.
- Create SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data across relational databases.
- Build data models, KPIs, and metrics that support business goals.
- Conduct statistical analysis using Python/R to solve business problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Finance, Marketing, Operations, Engineering) to understand data needs.
- Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders in an easy-to-understand format.
- Maintain data accuracy, quality, and integrity across systems.
- Work with engineering/data teams to automate data pipelines and improve data accessibility.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes based on data-driven insights.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 2-6+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (joins, CTEs, aggregations, window functions).
- Experience with BI tools: Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Ability to clean and manipulate datasets using Excel or programming languages.
- Working knowledge of Python or R for data analysis (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib preferred).
- Experience working with data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Azure Synapse) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis and data visualization principles.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ETL tools or workflow automation (Informatica, Alteryx, Airflow, AWS Glue).
- Knowledge of A/B testing, forecasting, and predictive modeling.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Domain experience in Finance, Healthcare, Retail, or Technology.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
