Job Summary:

  • Client is seeking a US-based experienced Workday Integration Lead with at least 8 years of integration experience and a minimum of 4 5 years specifically in Workday to support and lead key integration streams for high-impact enterprise initiatives.
  • The role demands a strategic, hands-on leader who excels in managing complex integrations within large-scale programs.
  • This individual will play a critical role in executing technical delivery for initiatives such as a corporate acquisition, global job architecture, and strategic HCM optimizations.
  • This role requires technical depth in Workday integrations, superior communication skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional efforts with precision and accountability.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the integration lead for major Workday programs, including post-acquisition integration, job architecture transformation, and system-wide HCM optimization initiatives.
  • Conduct impact assessment and analysis of key dependencies and integration points to understand impacts to downstream and upstream systems due to Workday changes
  • Lead the end-to-end integration lifecycle including scoping, design, build, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, third-party vendors, and offshore resources to ensure integration activities align with program goals and timelines.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of all integration points and dependencies, proactively mitigating risks and resolving issues.
  • Partner closely with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Drive integration work stream governance by creating and maintaining plans, milestones, risk registers, and weekly reporting.
  • Establish clear standards and documentation for Workday integrations to support long-term sustainability and knowledge transfer.
  • Provide thought leadership on best practices for integration architecture and Workday platform utilization.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
  • 8+ years of experience leading integrations, with a proven track record of delivering complex enterprise integration programs.
  • 4 5 years of direct experience in Workday integration development and management.
  • Deep technical knowledge of Workday tools including EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, and Workday Orchestrate.
  • Proven success managing large-scale Workday integration projects with multiple stakeholders and concurrent initiatives.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to present complex technical topics clearly to executive and non-technical audiences.
  • Detail-oriented project leadership with experience creating project plans, managing milestones, and tracking deliverables.
  • Experience working with global teams, including onshore and offshore delivery models.
