In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Independently design, execute, and/or oversee execution of method development and process improvements for QC processes to be implemented in a production QC department using current or innovative technologies to meet customer needs.
  • Act as a mentor and trainer for QC Development Scientists; leads training and onboarding activities for colleagues with less experience.
  • Independently author relevant documentation including method development, characterization, method and software validation procedures, SOPs, and analysis documents to be used in the production QC departments, following QA/RA guidelines
  • Organize and lead laboratory training for the successful transfer of methods to QC laboratories.
  • Act as Core Team member on projects to lead schedule management, communication with Leadership and drive OTD of assigned deliverables.


The essential requirements of the job include:
  • Bachelor's degree in a science-related field
  • Understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, ICH Q2, Q7
  • 5+ years of lab experience required, including relevant QC techniques
  • Previous experience working with relevant QC techniques (PCR, qPCR, NGS, HPLC, CE, ESI)


It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
  • Ability to self-motivate and work independently to meet aggressive timelines.
  • Ability to quickly prioritize and organize workload, based on multiple variables, to meet aggressive deadlines and department goals.
  • Adaptability to situations requiring the precise attainment of set limits, tolerances, or standards with attention to detail.
