Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced ePMO Project Manager with a background supporting projects in Flight Network Operations and Flight Planning (Dispatch) software. The ideal candidate will have subject matter expertise (SME) in flight planning systems and the necessary PM skill sets to help get our project on track.

Location: Chicago Or Houston (Hybrid)

Airlines experience is still required.

• Airlines experience should be within the last 1-2 projects or within 3-5 years.

They need to be super strong in PMO related projects and have a background with the Business (not IT), Such as Finance.

• Work closely with Business and Technology stakeholders to structure and prioritize program tasks effectively.
• Operate within Agile methodologies, managing month-long sprints and tracking progress.
• Provide strategic insights to optimize the flight planning system's development and implementation.
• Structure the program like Skyplan, determining what should go first, second, etc., and how to track it.
• Partner with technology teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Flight Network Operations and Flight Planning (Dispatch) software.
• Familiarity with CAE flight planning software (originally a Sabre product), ForeFlight, or similar type of system
• Strong project management skills, including Agile methodologies
• Ensure chosen projects/programs are aligned to business priorities, goals, and expected ROI
• Manage scope, issues, risks, and critical path activities thru a partnership key stakeholders
• Create and manage integrated project schedule, budget, constraints, and dependencies
• Track/monitor deliverables, milestones, and benefits are met
• Proactively manage key program activities, resource requirements, and projects interdependencies
• Report the performance of initiatives to the project team, stakeholders, and leadership Establish governance and actively engage stakeholders.
• Coordinate activities in communication, change management, and training planning.

Required:

• Experience with an AWS-based platform
• PMP certification
• Knowledge of other enterprise-level flight planning systems such as Lido Flight, NAVBLUE, Flightkeys 5D, Skyplan, and Smart4Aviation.
• Previous Airline Industry Background at least in the last 1 or 2 projects OR within 3-5 years.
