Platform Engineer
Salary: $75 000-$100,000
About the Role
We re seeking a Platform Engineer to help build and maintain the foundational systems that power enterprise-scale microservices. This role is central to ensuring platform reliability, security, and performance through automation and modern DevSecOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, automate, and deploy platform infrastructure to support distributed services at scale.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks to accelerate delivery.
- Take ownership of platform components and software packages, ensuring they meet performance and security standards.
- Monitor system health and proactively address performance or security concerns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Docker Swarm.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with DevSecOps tools (e.g., JFrog Xray, SonarQube, Red Hat ACS or equivalents).
- Kubestronaut certification is a plus.
- Strong grasp of networking, DNS, and security fundamentals.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
