Overview & Responsibilities
Work with a small, high-performing Business Planning team within a leading firm's External Affairs/Regulatory group. This Senior Project/Program Manager role's core objective is to take over and independently manage the complex Municipal Utility Tax (MUT) portal program. You will serve as the central program lead, ensuring compliance, managing municipality sign-up, and overseeing the necessary bi-annual reviews. Success requires a highly organized, self-motivated leader comfortable running a program from scoping to implementation with minimal management oversight.

You will
Manage and oversee the Municipal Utility Tax (MUT) portal program end-to-end.
Oversee the entire MUT portal process, including managing the customer service group and ensuring municipalities can sign up and access required documents.
Ensure municipalities comply with the required twice-yearly review of addresses, annexations, and proper tax collection.
Independently lead, organize, and break down initiatives or new processes into different stages and parts.
Engage with and interact with various internal stakeholders and external affairs managers (who are considered customers).
Complete small, ad-hoc projects as needed.
Create and maintain comprehensive Job Aids for all processes to ensure team coverage.
Required Qualifications:
Experience running different programs (not just projects) and being able to oversee them.
Strong ability to organize, lead, and implement programs by identifying and reaching out to the right people for each step.
Must be a strong project manager (5+ years of senior-level program management experience) who can take the essence of a project and run with it, demonstrating self-motivation and independence.
Proficiency with Excel and comfort level with SharePoint.
PMP Certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's and/or Master's degree (as the current senior manager holds both).
Familiarity with learning new platforms in general.
