This position offers a unique opportunity to apply your engineering analysis skills, Auto Cad expertise, and knowledge of pricing schedules, designs, product size, power requirements, and proposal evaluations. You will be a critical player in our team, developing and optimizing furnaces and other related equipment. This is a full-time, permanent position requiring a minimum of 5 years of experience.
Responsibilities:
As an Applications Engineer, you will:
1. Use your engineering analysis skills to evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes and equipment.
2. Utilize Auto Cad to design and modify equipment and systems.
3. Develop and manage pricing schedules to ensure competitive and profitable proposals.
4. Create and revise designs to meet customer requirements, considering factors such as product size and power requirements.
5. Evaluate proposals to determine feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and potential for commercial success.
6. Oversee the development and optimization of furnaces, ensuring they meet all safety and operational standards.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and production, to ensure successful product launch and market acceptance.
8. Provide technical support to customers, addressing any issues or concerns they may have regarding our products.
9. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements, incorporating them into our processes and products as appropriate.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Applications Engineer in the Manufacturing industry.
3. Proficiency in Auto Cad and other relevant software.
4. Strong knowledge of engineering analysis, pricing schedules, product design, and power requirements.
5. Experience in evaluating proposals and making business decisions.
6. Experience with furnaces, including their design, operation, and optimization.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
8. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
9. A strong customer focus, with the ability to understand and address customer needs.
10. The ability to work effectively in a team, contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.
