Job Details

A leading professional services client is seeking a Practice & AI Systems Analyst for a full-time hybrid position based in New York. This role supports the integration of AI technologies within legal workflows and works closely with attorneys, analysts, and internal stakeholders to drive adoption and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with leadership to evaluate and implement AI solutions tailored for legal practice.
  • Engage directly with attorneys and practice groups to identify and develop AI use cases.
  • Design, test, and refine AI prompting strategies and legal process automations.
  • Drive change management and user adoption through training, support, and communication initiatives.
  • Evaluate AI platforms, APIs, and custom solutions; provide feedback on performance and usability.
  • Translate between legal requirements and technical specifications to align business and tech goals.
  • Contribute to user training sessions, best practice documentation, and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay informed on legal AI trends and produce internal guidance and recommendations.
  • Manage special projects independently, ensuring timely and impactful delivery.

Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years' experience in a law firm or professional services environment (e.g., practice innovation, legal tech, KM, or app management).
  • Demonstrated expertise and interest in AI, especially within legal applications.
  • Strong skills in prompt and context engineering.
  • Solid project management background with familiarity in collaboration tools.
  • Experience with knowledge/document management systems and collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint).
  • Strong documentation and workflow design skills
  • Familiarity with AI tools and legal tech platforms
  • Understanding of application architecture and API integrations
  • Understanding of relational databases (SQL Server)
  • Basic T-SQL and familiarity with SQL Management Studio

Compensation: $150,000-170,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
