Job Description:
Our client is seeking an Application Architect to deliver new digital solutions that enhance their existing and future products. The ideal candidate will be able to gain familiarity with business processes and design software applications that drive efficiency and growth without sacrificing quality or security. The Application Architect will also serve as a technical lead and member of the team responsible for building these applications, and must be a constructive and collaborative team player. This is a contract position, with opportunity for a permanent role in the future.

Responsibilities:
Design and deliver high quality, secure, maintainable applications in an Azure environment
Produce documentation, architecture diagrams, data-flow diagrams, and other supporting artifacts
Communicate risks, challenges, and design tradeoffs effectively both within your team and with the broader organization
Contribute to an AI Center of Excellence as part of our organization s digital transformation
Perform code reviews and help mentor peers to make good design decisions and produce higher quality code
Work with other teams, stakeholders, and leadership to establish priorities and help keep your team working towards the greater goal

Qualifications:
5+ years experience building high quality software
Experience developing software in Azure
Experience incorporating AI into software solutions
Understanding of identity tools and authentication strategies, such as Okta, Entra ID, etc.
Ability to collaborate with other teams and ensure your team s solutions fit in with the broader vision
Experience building and supporting SaaS products is preferred
Experience working in a scrum team is preferred
Experience working in financial services or FinTech is a plus
