Location: Forth Worth, TX (Hybrid)
Duration: 5-month Contract to Hire
Job Description:

We are searching for an experienced API Management Engineer to support ongoing technical excellence in our IT Infrastructure Domain. Job Description:

What You'll Do:
- Perform regular maintenance and updates to IT systems, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide end-user support.
- Resolve complex technical problems escalated by Level 1 and Level 2 support teams with expert-level troubleshooting.
- Implement security measures to safeguard IT infrastructure from cyber threats and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with network engineers, system administrators, and security specialists to ensure smooth IT system operations and integration.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training.
- Availability to work varying shifts (day, night, split, or weekends).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training.
Technical Skills & Experience (Required):
- Apigee Expertise:
- Design, develop, configure, and troubleshoot APIs and policies using Apigee Edge.
- Define and implement API architecture, security measures (OAuth 2.0, SAML, SSL/TLS), and access controls.
- Develop guidelines for API publishing, product design, and consumer onboarding on Apigee Developer Portal.
- DataPower and IBM Integration Bus:
- Design and implement solutions for DataPower Gateway and deploy message flows to brokers.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity and authentication/authorization issues with IBM DataPower Gateway and IBM Integration Bus.
- General Technical Knowledge:
- Familiarity with data privacy, file transfer security, and compliance with PCI/PII standards.
- Basic understanding of Windows and Linux environments.
- Workflow and ITSM tools experience, with proficiency in ticketing systems.
Additional Skills:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills to interface with all organizational levels.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and process consistency.
