Job Description:

Develop and implement a custom cron job to automate data transfer between Airtable and Jira

• You will be responsible for writing a custom cron job that pulls data from Airtable and pushes data to Jira using REST API.
• The cron job should handle responses from Jira, logging the issue ID on success and returning errors to Airtable on failure.
• Proficiency in Scripting Languages: Python (with libraries such as requests, schedule, etc.)/Bash/Shell Scripting REST API Integration: Strong understanding of RESTful web services, Experience with Jira REST API Data Handling and Parsing: Proficiency with JSON, Robust error handling skills.
• Scheduling and Automation: Experience setting up and managing cron jobs, Knowledge of task scheduling concepts and tools
• HTTP Methods and Status Codes: Proficiency with HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE), Understanding of HTTP status codes
