Contract Opportunity

Join a Fortune 500 financial services client as a Senior Ab Initio Developer for a 12-month contract engagement. This hybrid role offers competitive hourly rates and the opportunity to work with enterprise-scale data integration projects in Irving, TX or Wilmington, DE.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design and develop ETL workflows using Ab Initio GDE, Co>Operating System, and EME components
  • Implement MHub solutions for metadata management and data governance initiatives
  • Optimize data pipelines processing high-volume financial datasets for performance and scalability
  • Collaborate with data architects and business analysts on data warehousing solutions
  • Support production systems with troubleshooting and performance tuning

Required Technical Skills

  • 5+ years Ab Initio development experience with GDE, Co>Op, and EME
  • MHub expertise for metadata management and data lineage
  • Advanced SQL skills with Oracle, SQL Server, or similar enterprise databases
  • ETL pipeline development and data warehousing best practices
  • Unix/Linux scripting and command-line proficiency
  • Agile methodology experience in enterprise environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Financial services background with regulatory reporting experience
  • Shell/Python scripting for automation and data processing
  • Big data technologies including Hadoop ecosystem tools
  • Cloud platforms experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Data governance and quality management experience

Work Arrangement

  • Location: Irving, Texas OR Wilmington, Delaware
  • Schedule: Hybrid model - 2-3 days onsite per week
  • Contract Type: Corp-to-Corp or W2 available
  • Duration: 12 months with potential extension
