Pay Range: $80 - $85/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis & Modeling:
  • Analyze organizational data inputs, outputs, and variances to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and optimization opportunities.
  • Design and implement a common data model to ensure consistency and interoperability across Microsoft-based systems.
  • Data Architecture Design:
  • Define and maintain scalable, secure data architectures using Azure services (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database).
  • Architect solutions for data integration, storage, and processing within the Microsoft ecosystem
  • Data Lifecycle Management:
  • Manage the full data lifecycle, including ingestion, processing, storage, retrieval, and archival using Azure tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Blob Storage).
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
  • Reporting & Analytics:
  • Develop frameworks for reporting and analytics using Power BI and Azure Synapse Analytics to support business decision-making.
  • Implement and optimize machine learning models using Azure Machine Learning for predictive analytics and insights.
  • Machine Learning Model Development:
  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to address business needs, leveraging Azure Machine Learning and related tools.
  • Integrate ML models into data pipelines for real-time or batch processing.
  • Tool & Technology Selection:
  • Recommend and implement Azure and Microsoft tools for data management, analytics, and machine learning (e.g., Azure Databricks, Power BI, Azure AI).
  • Stay updated on advancements in Azure and Microsoft technologies to enhance data and ML capabilities.
  • Collaboration & Leadership:
  • Partner with IT, business units, and data scientists to align data and ML strategies with organizational goals.
  • Provide guidance on best practices for data governance, security, and lifecycle management within the Microsoft ecosystem.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Key Skills; Azure Data Architect, Power BI, Azure Synapse Analytics, Machine Learning.
  • Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years in data architecture, data management, or a related role, with a focus on the Azure and Microsoft stack.
  • Proven experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data lifecycle management in Azure environments.
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying machine learning models using Azure Machine Learning or similar platforms.
  • Expertise in Azure data services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database).
  • Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and reporting
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks and tools (e.g., Azure Machine Learning, Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Experience with data integration tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps).
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks and compliance standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional ConsultantData Storage & Processing: Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB.
  • Data Integration: Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic Apps, Microsoft SSIS.
  • Analytics & Visualization: Power BI, Azure Analysis Services.
  • Machine Learning: Azure Machine Learning, Azure Databricks, Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
  • Database Systems: Azure SQL Database, SQL Server, Azure Cosmos DB.
  • Other Microsoft Tools: Microsoft Purview (for data governance), Azure Event Hubs, Azure Stream Analytics.
