Job Details

Please note that this is a 12 to 18-month contract position.

Day shift 7:00 am 3:30pm

In this role, you will primarily operate injection molding equipment used to make plastic plates used in medical laboratories.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Previous machine production operation experience, ideally injection molding.

  • Demonstrated ability to follow documented procedures and processes

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

  • Desire to be part of a motivated and energetic team

  • Good communication skills both verbal and written

  • Bilingual communications skills a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Following the jobs traveler/work order, operate injection molding machines used in the manufacturing process of plastic parts

  • Perform setup, calibrations, and shut down of machines as required or needed.

  • Perform various quality checks on the product during and after the manufacturing process. This consists of visual and hands on precision measurements.

  • Ensure machine operations are running optimally by maintaining work and break schedules.

  • Unload finished parts, stack and bag product for storage/shipping.

  • Operate computer to load and run work instructions, track production, scrap, downtime, and machine adjustments that have been performed.

  • Properly and promptly inform management of any issues, machine downtime, and mis manufactured product.

  • Ensure all product not meeting specifications are segregated and properly marked

  • Assist with other duties in other areas as needed.
