Position: Informatica IICS Developer
Location: McLean, VA (Onsite Candidates from nearby states only)
Overview:
We are actively seeking a highly skilled Informatica IICS Developer to join our team in McLean, VA. This is a hands-on role for someone with strong experience in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), Kafka, Spark, and SQL. If you're passionate about data integration and cloud technologies and are based in or around Virginia, we d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robust data integration solutions using Informatica IICS (Cloud Data & Application Integration).
- Build integrations between systems using messaging platforms such as Apache Kafka.
- Work with Apache Spark for high-performance data processing and analytics.
- Write and optimize SQL queries and Java code to meet transformation needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and implement data requirements.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing workflows for scalability and reliability.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across integrated platforms.
- Maintain technical documentation for integration processes and data flows.
Mandatory Skills:
- Expertise in Informatica IICS Data Integration & Application Integration (Cloud AWS preferred).
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Java for data transformation.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka for real-time streaming data integration.
- Experience with Apache Spark for distributed data processing.
- Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data mapping, and cloud-based data services.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with REST/SOAP API development and integration.
- Familiarity with DevOps/CI-CD pipelines for integration workflows.
- Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
- Certifications in Informatica IICS or related technologies.
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
