About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) / DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our infrastructure and applications. This role blends software engineering with systems engineering to build and run large-scale, distributed, fault-tolerant systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.
• Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Collaborate with development teams to improve system architecture and application performance.
• Implement and maintain security best practices across environments.
• Perform root cause analysis and postmortems for incidents and outages.
• Automate operational tasks and improve system efficiency.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 11+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or related roles.
• Strong experience with Linux systems and shell scripting.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, Go, Bash).
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
• Knowledge of networking, security, and system administration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
• Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).
• Exposure to chaos engineering and reliability testing.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
