Description
We are looking for a skilled .NET Developer in Southern California. This is a long-term contract position that combines onsite work four days a week with one day of remote work. The role involves designing, developing, and supporting mission-critical applications in the automotive industry, ensuring optimal solutions for complex business needs.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain large-scale web and database applications, integrating advanced e-commerce solutions.
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, testing, and support.
Design and implement high-traffic, high-availability applications using Microsoft .NET technologies, including C#, Blazor, and microservices.
Create and manage technical documentation to support development and deployment processes.
Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to define requirements and deliver architectural solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing applications to ensure seamless operation.
Mentor and provide guidance to team members with less experience to enhance their technical skills.
Utilize DevOps and CI/CD tools to streamline development and deployment processes.
Conduct data analysis and reporting using Microsoft SQL Server and Transact-SQL.
Identify risks related to application components and proactively communicate solutions.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or a related field.
10 to 15 years of progressive experience in software development, with a proven track record of technical achievements.
Expertise in Microsoft .NET technologies, including .NET Framework, C#, Blazor, and microservices.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or higher, with advanced skills in data analysis and reporting.
Hands-on experience designing and developing mission-critical applications for Fortune 1000 enterprises.
Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects and adhere to strict deadlines.
Technically inquisitive and eager to learn new technologies and methodologies.
