Job Details

Job Title: Epic HB/PB Claims Consultant
Location: Fayetteville, AR Washington Regional Medical Center
Work Type: Mostly Remote (Onsite once per month for 2.5 days)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Epic Hospital Billing and Professional Billing claims workflows.

  • Support new implementations, upgrades, and enhancements within Epic's HB/PB modules.

  • Analyze, design, and optimize claims processing workflows to improve accuracy and efficiency.

  • Collaborate with revenue cycle teams, clinical operations, and IT to gather requirements and implement best practices.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to claims processing, interfaces, and system configuration.

  • Provide documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to internal staff as needed.

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare billing regulations and payer requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Epic Hospital Billing (HB) Certification current and active

  • Epic Professional Billing (PB) Certification current and active

  • Recent hands-on experience with Epic HB and PB implementations

  • Deep understanding of revenue cycle operations and claims processing in a healthcare setting

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially in hybrid and remote environments

  • Ability to work independently and deliver in a consulting capacity
