Solution Architect
Location: 3 Days Hybrid in Hoboken, NJ / Atlanta, GA
Duration: 1 year with possibility of extension

Overview:
At the client, we are establishing a dedicated Center of Excellence (CoE) focused on delivering scalable, high-quality solutions in the Financial Crime & Compliance (FC&C) domain. We are seeking a Solution Architect with strong architectural and implementation experience to take charge of solution design, technical leadership, and platform enablement. This role will evolve into the Solution Architect for the CoE, with deep ownership of technical standards and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the solution architect for CoE engagements
Lead the design and architecture of end-to-end implementations and customizations
Guide engineering teams on solution patterns, performance tuning, integrations, and module configurations
Own the technical roadmap for CoE initiatives, ensuring scalability, reliability, and alignment
Collaborate closely with business analysts and program managers to translate functional requirements into technical designs
Review and optimize solution architecture across SAM, CDD, IFM, WLF, or other modules
Define and enforce best practices, coding standards, and development workflows within the CoE
Act as a technical SME for clients and internal delivery teams
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in technology roles with a focus on enterprise solution delivery with at least 5 years as a Solution Architect
Strong background in solution architecture, technical design, and implementation oversight
Experience with platforms (implementation, configuration, integration) highly preferred
Solid understanding of software engineering, cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), and data integration
Proven ability to lead engineering teams, mentor developers, and enforce technical governance
Experience with Financial Services applications, ideally in AML, fraud, or compliance domains
Excellent communication skills and ability to work across technical and business teams
Preferred Attributes:
Prior experience in module configuration or SDK development Familiarity with Java, Oracle/MS SQL, Unix/Linux environments
Understanding of regulatory and compliance architectures in banking or capital markets
Experience in setting up CI/CD, DevOps pipelines, and automation frameworks
Ability to grow into a technical leadership role within a global CoE structure
Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach to building scalable solutions
