Job Overview

We re seeking an experienced .NET Developer to join our team supporting enterprise applications for a Virginia state agency in Richmond. This hybrid role requires working onsite 2 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain .NET applications using C# and SQL Server

  • Build and consume RESTful APIs (JSON)

  • Work with .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API frameworks

  • Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality solutions

  • Support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or Jenkins

  • Create and maintain technical documentation

  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of professional experience in .NET/C#/SQL Server development

  • Hands-on experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API

  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design and JSON

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with front-end frameworks like Angular or React

  • Cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS

  • Prior experience with public-sector or government clients
