Role: Unix System Administrator

Skills & Responsibilities:
The Unix System Administrator will work as a team member on infrastructure management and support. The role focuses on Unix servers and VMware.
The System Administrator will work as a team member to design, deploy, oversee, and support a 70+ site infrastructure.
This can include but is not limited to installing hardware and software, deploying application infrastructure, and supporting cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
Build, install, and manage physical and virtual server environments.
Solid Experience with configuration, installation, and administration of VMWare.
In-depth working experience in RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu.
Experience with data storage and SAN technologies.
Remediates vulnerabilities in the environment.
Installs and configures applications.
Ensures data availability by monitoring backups and testing recovery plans.
Review and resolve server and networking issues.
Strong IT customer service skills for supporting end user application issues.
