Job Details
- Must have hands on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama.
- Preferred hands-on experience with F5 load balancers.
- Preferred hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches
Required Qualifications:
Education/Certifications: Bachelor?s Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or similar
5-10 years overall IT experience working in a large enterprise environment.
- 5-10 years? experience supporting and maintaining Palo Alto Network Security platforms to include set-up, maintenance, upgrades, and replacement of the latest Palo Alto systems.
- Extensive experience with Palo Alto firewall rules in a large, shared environment
- Demonstrate an ability to craft and understand Palo Alto firewall rule deployments
- Experience with other firewall technologies in Cloud Environments (Google Cloud Platform, Azure, AWS, etc)
- In-depth knowledge of both LAN/WAN designs and the support processes for large network deployments
- In-depth knowledge of IPSec/VPN technology supporting a large enterprise
- Significant experience with TCPDump, Wireshark and analyzing network traffic
- 5-10 years of hands-on experience with Cisco network technologies
- 5-10 years of hands-on experience with F5 load balancer technologies
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of the OSI and TCP/IP network models
- Significant experience in custom SSL, ciphers, and security traffic performance optimization
- In-depth knowledge of networking and systems administration; and the ability to troubleshoot problems
- Programming experience with Python, Ansible and Terraform for automation services

Assists in the development of strategies for building and maintaining new and existing solutions and capabilities.
Creates technical documentation, specifications, and project artifacts to deliver mature monitoring, improved resiliency, and high availability.
Proposes high-level infrastructure architectural guidelines. Formulates and designs technical solutions to meet business needs and communicates cross-functionally to ensure viability of solutions.
