Are you interested in an Internship opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) and/or graduate (MS) degree to participate in 3 month paid intern opportunities at our site in Bothell, WA. Through this role you will engage in a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative environment. You will work with a small collaborative team that contributes to the development of automatic external defibrillators (AEDs) and advanced resuscitation and critical care devices, working with groups throughout the world to innovate medical devices and ensure patient care.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The hourly pay range for this position is $25.00 to $35.00, plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Bothell, WA

Your role:
- Contributing to the design and development of new products using the latest technologies and resources.
- Develop and test tools for product development as directed.
- Create engineering documents to comply with product development policies, practices and procedures.
- Contribute to research programs and projects.
- Work with engineering, regulatory and marketing on innovations to advance products and features.
You're the right fit if:
- You are a senior level undergraduate student or graduate student working toward a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Biomedical Engineering.
- You are self-motivated, organized, efficient, and process-oriented.
- You are a team player with a strong work ethic.
- You are able to persevere under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with developing electromechanical systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with parts fabrication, such as 3D printing and machining, is preferred.
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Office/Remote position.
