Hardware Engineer
Location Cupertino, CA (3 to 5 days a week).
Hybrid
$45 to $50 per hour Max
Key Qualifications
- Knowledge of EM or RF hardware or antenna design
- Knowledge of integration of wireless technologies such as cellular, GPS, Wifi, and NFC into products.
- Knowledge of electromagnetic / circuit simulation tools (HFSS / CST / ADS / Cadence)
- Hands-on experience with RF lab instrumentation
- Experience in Developing automation framework for running automated tests.
- C/C++, Python and shell code development
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Education & Experience
BSEE or MSEE / Higher, or equivalent education. Coursework or experience in antenna/RF design, wireless communications, EM, or circuits.
Roles & Responsibilities
The contracted engineering service company in Cupertino would help the team to coordinate and execute RF characterizations & test plans, automate test system which includes usual RF equipment (but not limited to) i.e. signal generator, spectrum analyzer, power amplifier. EM & RF circuit simulation is expected in this role to analyze characterization platform. Antenna measurement, RF parametric data collection is required as well.
