AWS Databricks Platform Support
Location: Princeton NJ
The key deliverables are as follows -
Platform Engineering
- Establish Databricks Center of Excellence (CoE) to drive and achieve 3E (Efficiency, Effectiveness and Economy) objective and elevate customer's experience.
- Create and maintain Databricks Technology roadmap aligned with Databricks product releases.
- Develop Reference Architecture, Design and Solution patterns for Enterprise services.
- Lead and drive adoption for Unity Catalog and other technology transformation activities
- Design and implement best-fit solutions across services.
- Drive and manage technology life cycle management.
- Perform the technical advisor role for Databricks practitioners (architects, analysts & engineers
Operation Support
- Perform Incident, Service Request, Problem and Change management.
- Create and manage Databricks workspaces across AWS and Azure Cloud (provisioning, security policy management and decommissioning)
- Create and manage Service Principal Names (SPNs) for all Databricks workspaces
- Enabling and creating Unity catalog for all workspaces
- Access management for each workspace and custom AD groups
- Manage and maintain SAS Token Renewal - securely delegate access to resources to Azure storage accounts.
- Provide technical guidance, documentation, and training to help users leverage platform capabilities.
- Management of Databricks services (including automation, runtime versions, features upgrade, etc.) aligned with Databricks CoE best practices & guidelines.
- Service Engineering Setting up CIs, CMDB
- Compliance Documentation (SOP, Work Instructions)
