Akkodis is seeking an IBM Cognos Report Developer for a Contract with a client in Madison, WI. You will develop and maintain complex reports and dashboards using IBM Cognos Analytics, ensuring optimal performance and data accuracy.
Rate Range: $45/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

IBM Cognos Report Developer job responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc queries using IBM Cognos Analytics tools (Report Studio, Workspace, Query Studio, Dashboarding).
- Design and build metadata models using Framework Manager to support accurate and efficient reporting.
- Optimize report performance and ensure data integrity through advanced data modeling and BI best practices.
- Integrate Cognos reports with enterprise systems and maintain documentation for all reporting solutions.
- Provide end-user support and training on Cognos tools and reporting best practices.
- Collaborate in Agile environments to analyze requirements and deliver scalable BI solutions aligned with business needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data modeling and BI development, preferably with IBM Cognos.
- Strong technical expertise in IBM Cognos Analytics (Report Studio, Workspace, Query Studio, Dashboarding) and Framework Manager for metadata modeling.
- Proven ability to optimize report performance, integrate Cognos with enterprise systems, and provide end-user training and support.
