Job Description:

Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented Data and Solution Architect to join our Enterprise Data Program. This position involves architecting and implementing advanced data solutions on the AWS platform, with a focus on integrating and managing enterprise data. The role also encompasses developing bespoke solutions for data access control, cataloging, and quality to enhance our data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement scalable data architectures on AWS to meet the enterprises data requirements.

Lead efforts to develop and optimize data integration, curation, and management practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data solutions with organizational goals.

Develop tailored solutions for data access control, data cataloging, and quality assurance.

Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory standards.

Provide leadership and mentorship to other architects and data professionals within the team.

Provide data architecture recommendations for data modeling, classification, integration, etc.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Data/Solution Architect, preferably within an enterprise context.
  • Strong expertise in AWS services, such as S3, Redshift, Glue.
  • Advanced knowledge of data modeling, warehousing strategies, and ETL frameworks.
  • Experience with creating solutions for data governance, cataloging, and assurance of data quality.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Innovative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Databricks experience is a plus.
