Description

We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Programmer Analyst in Houston, Texas. The successful candidate will be working in a technology-driven team, building and enhancing applications using React.js. This role is essential in designing and implementing user interface components for JavaScript-based web and mobile applications.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement user interface components using React.js concepts and workflows such as Redux, Flux, and Webpack. Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use. Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code. Optimize components for maximum performance across various web-capable devices and browsers. Utilize the capabilities of backend services and databases to enhance functionality and user experience. Coordinate with various teams working on distinct layers. Analyze application specifications and technology approaches to ensure business requirements are met and scalable for future product enhancements. Collaborate with clients and team members to deliver better solutions that meet user needs. Apply knowledge of C++, Database, DB2 Database, EO/IR systems, IBM, AB Testing, ASP.NET, COBOL - All Versions, Coding, and Design in performing tasks and responsibilities.

Requirements

Demonstrated proficiency in C++ programming language
Extensive knowledge and experience working with databases and DB2 Database
Familiarity with EO/IR systems
Experience with IBM systems
Proven experience with AB Testing methods and techniques
Proficiency in ASP.NET
Knowledge and experience in working with COBOL - All Versions
Strong coding skills and understanding of coding best practices
Ability to design and implement complex programming solutions
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
