Senior Managed Services Security Analyst

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Senior Managed Services Security Analyst

Overview

We're hiring a Senior Managed Services Security Analyst to join our Cyber Security Operations team. This role is critical in providing oversight and assurance for both standard and non-standard security engagements, including coordination with seven offshore groups operating data centers in support of Vanguard. The ideal candidate will ensure these groups adhere to Vanguard's security standards and practices.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and assurance across managed service engagements.
• Ensure offshore teams align with Vanguard's security standards.
• Lead meetings and vendor engagements, challenging and guiding partners as needed.
• Support infrastructure and endpoint security operations.
• Maintain and troubleshoot firewalls, routing, VDIs, and Thin Clients.
• Perform endpoint hardening aligned with CIS benchmarks.
• Administer and troubleshoot GPO and Intune configurations.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Conduct data analysis to support operational and security initiatives.
• Utilize SIEM platforms (Splunk, Elastic/ESQL, Skybox) for monitoring and investigation.
• Collaborate using Confluence and Jira for documentation and project tracking.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Splunk and Skybox.
• Familiarity with Firemon and other monitoring tools.
• Infrastructure proficiency: firewalls, routing, VDI, Thin Clients.
• Endpoint hardening (CIS standards).
• GPO and Intune administration.
• SOP writing and documentation.
• SIEM platform expertise (Elastic/ESQL, Splunk, Skybox).
• Experience with Confluence and Jira.
