We are currently seeking a TALEND DQ Engineer for our client in the IT Services and Consulting domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Location: Raleigh, NC (Remote till Covid)

Salary: $49.00/Hourly on W2 & $55.00/Hourly on C2C

Role: TALEND DQ Engineer

Primary Skills: Data Analysis

Role Description: The TALEND DQ Engineer must have at least 7+ years of experience.

Required Technical Skills:

- Talend Data Quality

Domain Skills:

- Merchandising, Assortment Management

Nice to Have Skills:

- Informatica Data Quality

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Liaise with customer teams, internal stakeholders, build relationships across the board and drive team on productivity and deliverables.

- Should be able to interact with client, business, offshore teams, other technical partners on regular basis to streamline requirements, plan delivery and ensure adherence to timelines.

- Establish, promote, and evolve business processes that adhere to policies and standards that promote governance through the data lifecycle

- Conduct the monthly data governance council meeting, and follow-up on the action items

- Use the existing the Data Governance framework and excite the new data domain owners to adopt the process

- Review the Data Governance Handbook and modify and get them up to date

- Review the Data Governance Policy and make any necessary changes

- Review the data maturity evaluation checklist and modify accordingly and come-up with the way to measure the maturity of the data domains.

- Establish a Monthly process to publish the Data Quality score for all the data domains adopted into the Federated data governance

- Establish a Quarterly process to publish the Data Maturity score

- Provide thought leadership and direction to the data stewards and data analysts.

- Performs all other duties and special assignments as assigned by the Data Governance Office

- Provide progress reports to management and oversee periodic updates to the Governance Roadmap

- Align data initiatives and projects to the business and technology strategy

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of Data Governance experience

- Working experience on the Federated Data Governance

- Ability to drive template driven framework for Data Governance and Data Quality

- Working knowledge on Collibra Data Governance Center

- Good presentation and communication skill

- Comfortable working with the leadership team

- Exposure to the Data Quality tools such as Talend DQ, Informatica DQ, etc.

- Exposure to the Data Mesh principle

Education: Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent

Experience: Minimum 7+ years of experience

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses

Travel: No

Note: Must be able to work on a W2 basis
