Our client is in search of a meticulous Functional Product Manager to join their growing 5 year double digit growth organization. As a part of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding the evolution and trajectory of LIMS software.



Collaborating closely with multifaceted teams spanning development, quality assurance, marketing, and customer support, you'll be instrumental in delineating, ranking, and overseeing product features and capabilities. Your contributions are vital to ensuring that the company's LIMS caters to user requirements, maintains competitiveness in the laboratory informatics sector, and stays aligned with our strategic objectives.

responsibilities:


Main Goals




  • Engage with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to gather, prioritize, and document product requirements, ensuring alignment with user needs and industry trends.

  • Clearly articulate and document product features, including use cases, user stories, and functional specifications for development teams.

  • Maintain a product roadmap detailing feature development timelines and release schedules.

  • Establish feature priorities based on business objectives, customer feedback, market research, and competitive analysis.

  • Develop product revenue forecasts and track sales performance against them.

  • Facilitate the creation, management, and participation in customer groups such as advisory boards and domain experts.

  • Produce various collateral materials including sales content, website copy, social media posts, and white papers.

  • Verify that product user requirements are met during software iterations.

  • Supervise and contribute to product components specific to industries and solutions.

  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to drive product innovation.

  • Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

  • Advocate for an exceptional user experience by considering usability, user interface design, and user feedback throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Assist in developing and delivering new product training for internal teams before public launches.

  • Create and maintain product documentation to support internal teams.

  • Contribute to annual customer training and education conferences, as well as other customer events as required.

Qualifications




  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience managing laboratories, improving processes, or implementing Lean methodology.

  • Previous experience in product management, business analysis, or related roles, preferably in laboratory informatics or LIMS.

  • Proficiency in LIMS or similar laboratory informatics software.

  • strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, lead projects, and prioritize tasks.

  • Customer-focused mindset and dedication to product excellence.

  • Preferred certification in PMC III or above with Pragmatic Institute or similar.

  • Team-oriented with a focus on collaboration.

  • Interest in working within a global team environment.
