Title: Test Field Engineer
Location: Doral, FL
Duration: 6 month + contract
Compensation: $30 - $45 per hour
Work Requirements: , Holders or Authorized to Work in the US
This position is to manage/support entire product cycle focusing on maintaining product's quality. (Mobile phones / Tablets / Watches, etc.)
Involves in product development (software development) through
- Ensuring that carrier requirements are applied properly
- Conducting field test in operator network
Follow up homologation process with carriers (aka. mobile phone operators) in the region, mostly Caribbean operators.
- Gathering carriers (mobile operators) network information up-to-date, and sharing it with related departments (R/D and Quality Engineering team, etc.)
- Follow up adding carrier's new features (5G, IMS - VoLTE/VoWiFi, etc.) into the device accordingly in timely manner
Throughout the process, you may be required to do
- Planning homologation process by carriers and share with Sales/PM team
- mobile devices
- Field Test with mobile devices
- Frequent international travel (LATAM region - mainly Caribbean)
- Ensure the product works properly on carrier network
- Follow up homologation with customer (mobile operators in LATAM - mainly Caribbean)
- Status update with related department regularly weekly and upon request
- Preferred for the candidate to have experience of carrier homologation experience
- Experience of working with mobile devices (mobile phones, tablets, watches)
- Be familiar with handling computer, mobile devices.
- Prefer to have knowledge / experience in Telecommunication field
- Be familiar with telecommunication network and 3GPP specification - telecommunication international standard
