Project Specialist I

Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Project Specialist for a contract position in Maple Grove, MN. The opportunity will be a year with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Position Summary:

Responsible for implementing and supporting exploratory, technology development, and product development tasks for (IO&E) Interventional Oncology and Embolization R&D. Candidate will act as a purchaser and organizer for early builds of IO&E products, assist in the organization of early clinical assessments, and organize (HFE) Human Factor Engineering reviews. The candidate will assist in the organization of the day-to-day activities of exploratory projects. Implements and supports the use of project management and team collaboration technologies.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Support, manage, and facilitate early engineering builds and projects.
  • Work with physicians and medical professionals to coordinate HFE (Human Factors Engineering) studies.
  • Conducting purchasing or internal acquisition of custom components.
  • Assist in coordination of independent physician contracts.
  • Analyze aspects of our current systems and procedures, identifying opportunities for enhancement
  • Take responsibility for project deliverables, project plans, status reports, and the gathering and documentation of requirements
  • Collaborate with multiple internal departments on a wide scope of project management and analysis efforts
  • Support project planning sessions and post-project reviews, providing project managers and team with practical guidance for creating the highest levels of project performance.
  • Consolidate and refine project status into program-level and senior management reports.
  • Drive process and requirement definition to facilitate the selection and use of appropriate project management technologies.
  • Support project teams in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite and other select technologies.
  • Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.

Qualifications:
  • 0 - 1 year experience with completed degree (Science or Business-related) **Degree must be present on resume.
  • Historical management positions are highly preferred
  • Intern experience!
  • Project management-type experience
  • Good executive functions
  • Familiarity with compliance and legal paths.
  • Professional and timely communication skills.
