About the Team:
This team plays a critical role in providing products to our Customer Experience department so that they can serve and support our customers.

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist with a strong background in designing and implementing AI-driven applications using Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). The ideal candidate will be proficient in cloud software solutions while leveraging cutting-edge AI/ML technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable, secure, and efficient AI-based applications that enhance business operations.

Responsibilities:
Perform hands-on data analysis and modeling with huge data sets
Apply data mining, NLP, and machine learning (both supervised and unsupervised) to improve relevance and personalization algorithms
Work side-by-side with product managers, software engineers, and designers in designing experiments and minimum viable products
Discover data sources, get access to them, import them, clean them up, and make them "model-ready".
Run regular A/B tests, gather data, perform statistical analysis, draw conclusions on the impact of your optimizations and communicate results to peers and leaders
Explore new design or technology shifts to determine how they might connect with the customer benefits we wish to deliver
Work closely with DevOps teams to automate deployment processes and monitor AI/ML applications.
Implement cloud-native solutions using Google Cloud Platform services, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.

About You:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in data science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
3+ years of experience as a data scientist or machine learning engineer with proven track record of delivering functional product-oriented AI/ML solutions
Proven experience delivering AI/ML applications in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) or Azure environments.
Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform services, including AI Platform, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Vertex AI
Solid understanding of backend languages like Python, Node.js, or Java.
Frontend development experience using React.js or Angular.
Strong knowledge of APIs and RESTful services development and integration.
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based version control.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Agile mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and learning

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Google Cloud Platform's Cloud AI products, such as: AutoML, TensorFlow on Google Cloud Platform, Dataflow, Dialogflow (for chatbot and conversational AI).
Experience with Cloud Dataproc for processing large datasets.
Familiarity with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) for managing containerized AI applications.
Experience with Google Cloud Monitoring and Logging for operational insights.
Experience with MLOps practices for automating machine learning workflows.
Familiarity with GraphQL.
Understanding of big data tools like Apache Beam and Apache Kafka.

The pay range for this position is $113,000 to $$169,998, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
