Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Full Time, Entry Level/Hourly, Systems Engineering Aide in Denver, CO.
As an Engineering Aide / Project Aide, you will be providing technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks to include:
Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results, engineering design changes, and requirements and verification information.
Produces engineering documentation and reports.
Performs details mathematical calculations using established formulas to aide in engineering analysis or decision making.
Uses quantitative judgements concerning technical data. Uses personal computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation and/or reports. Other engineering technical support duties as needed.
The following are examples of duties that may be included:
Reviewing technical documents to identify and resolve discrepancies, perform requirements analysis, coordinate technical exchange meetings, develop presentation material, and handle peer reviews.
Generating engineering documentation, reports, drawings, flow charts, block diagrams, and schedules.
Performing as a Data Transfer Agent (DTA)
Facilitate Meetings / CVTC coordination
Manage Technical Impact Assessments / Peer Reviews and ensure team members are aware of design changes that could affect them.
Support the team's Project Engineer (Action item tracking, schedule (IMS) support, Customer requests tracking, proposal coordination)

Basic Qualifications
Associates degree in a STEM related discipline or equivalent experience, and/or technical training. Coursework completed towards a degree may be considered.
Eligibility and willingness to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance - ship required

Excellent communication skills and the ability to adjust to a variety of audiences.
Good presentation skills; must be able to present clearly and concisely on a weekly basis to management and customers.

Basic understanding of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) principles as well as the ability to interpret, generate, and present technical material and problem solve.

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
