Job Details

Piper Companies is looking for an Infrastructure Architect-IAM to join an established Electronics Manufacturing company for a hybrid, FULL TIME opportunity in Atlanta, GA.

This role will require 3 days/week on-site in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities for the Infrastructure Architect-IAM:
  • Proven experience designing, deploying, and managing enterprise Active Directory environments.
  • Expertise in Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • Strong knowledge of identity and access management (IAM), including Azure AD, ADFS, Single Sign-On (SSO), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
  • Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting for automation in AD and Office 365.
  • Familiarity with security protocols, compliance frameworks, and hybrid environments integrating on-premises and cloud solutions.

Qualifications of the Infrastructure Architect-IAM:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of Active Directory infrastructure, including replication, ADFS, Group Policy, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 architecture and administration, focusing on scalability and security.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts, firewalls, and DNS as they relate to AD and Office 365.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud integrations involving on-prem AD and Azure AD.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex AD and Office 365 environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Preferred: Microsoft certifications such as Azure Administrator or Enterprise Administrator Expert, and experience with third-party IAM tools like Okta or Ping Identity.

Compensation for the Infrastructure Architect-IAM:
  • $170,000 - $200,000 base salary
