Business Operations Specialist/Business Analyst 4Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Business Operations Specialist/Business Analyst for a contract position in Redmond, WA. The opportunity will be seven months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.
Position Summary: The primary function of this role is to maintain vendor relationships, act as a business analyst for non-IT projects, and fill organizational roles above an administrative level but below a management level. Responsibilities also include maintaining all project management processes, including setting project goals, deadlines, metrics, and budgets. The individual typically reports to a project manager or director.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Review and approve contracts, cost proposals, and contract supplements.
- Approve project and work breakdown structures.
- Review and approve the documentation of business processes.
- Approve project budgets and expenditures, monitor transaction controls, and costs against budgets.
- Predict potential budget overruns and propose solutions.
- Consult with corporate offices, project managers, auditors, clients, and sub-consultant representatives regarding future proposals.
- Prepare sub-agreements and review and input sub-consultant invoices to ensure contract compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting, or a relevant field is required.
- 8-10 years of experience in a related field is required.
- Years of Experience Required: 8-10 years of experience in a related role.
- Degrees or Certifications Required: Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting, or a relevant field.
- Best vs. Average: An ideal candidate will have recent experience with the Power Platform, migrating applications to the Power Platform, and advanced knowledge of implementing scripts into Power Apps.
- Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on meeting deadlines and the quality of work.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Power Platform: Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Power BI.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with JavaScript.
Preferred:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Solid understanding of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
- Proficiency in applying accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
- Strong ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Word and Excel; experience with enterprise applications is a plus.
