A new frontier is opening in AI-powered cloud automation-and this is a chance to be on the ground floor in Montreal. As one of the founding engineers, you'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with the company's leadership to turn research breakthroughs into resilient, production-grade systems. This isn't maintenance. It's invention. From hardening production environments to writing robust code and engineering orchestration pipelines, you'll shape a platform designed to change how the cloud is managed.

The role demands range: deep technical chops in Kubernetes, Terraform, and distributed systems, plus the creativity to experiment and build AI-driven infrastructure that scales. It's a high-energy opportunity for an engineer who thrives in ambiguity, loves debugging tough problems, and wants their fingerprints on a system designed to grow fast.

  • Proficiency in AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure, and strong experience with IaC (Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible)
  • Advanced Kubernetes knowledge with strong programming ability in Go, Rust, or Python
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Comfort with policy-as-code frameworks and advanced cloud security practices
  • Experience building AI/ML-powered systems or contributing to open-source cloud-native projects
  • Strong foundation in distributed systems, concurrency, and performance engineering
Daily Responsibilities
  • Hands-On Software Engineering & Cloud Systems Development: 70%
  • Founding-Level Strategy & Collaboration with Leadership: 30%
