Job Summary:
The HR Assistant will support daily HR operations and assist the HR team with tasks related to recruitment, onboarding, employee records, compliance, and general administrative duties. This role is essential in maintaining efficient HR processes and ensuring a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with end-to-end recruitment processes, including scheduling interviews, screening resumes, and coordinating with hiring managers.
Facilitate new hire onboarding, including document collection, system setup, and orientation coordination.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records both electronically and physically.
Assist with HR compliance tasks, such as I-9 verifications and audit preparation.
Support payroll processing by collecting and verifying timesheets and leave records.
Respond to employee inquiries and direct them to appropriate channels as needed.
Help coordinate training sessions, employee engagement activities, and internal communications.
Assist with exit processes including clearance forms and final documentation.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information.
Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the HR Manager.
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
2 years of experience in an HR or administrative role (pharma or healthcare industry preferred).
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

This position will report to Associate Director of HR
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Zoho).
Basic understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
