Immediate need for a talented Senior Deal Desk Strategist. Key Responsibilities:
- Project Overview
- Analysts will manage various types of deals including new business and renewals across all customer segments (from small businesses to large enterprises), primarily involving subscription-based products (e.g., talent solutions, learning platforms).
- Provide strategic support throughout the order-to-cash process
- Review and help structure complex commercial deals
- Ensure deal compliance with internal policies
- Generate or guide the creation of order forms
- Handle new business, renewals, and custom deals
- Liaise across multiple departments to troubleshoot and align on deal-related requests
- Engage in cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving processes and tooling
- Possibly communicate externally with clients to clarify deal components
- Team Structure and Collaboration
- Reports into the Deal Strategy team
- Functions as a central point of collaboration for internal initiatives, including process optimization, launch of new promotions, and internal tooling enhancements.
- 90-Day Goals
- Ramp up quickly on internal systems and sales tools
- Build strong working relationships with cross-functional partners
- Start independently handling a portion of deal requests and renewals
- Provide support for complex deal structuring and internal projects
- Demonstrate ability to act as a reliable point of contact for sales and operations teams
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key skills; Order-to-cash (O2C) process
- 2+ years in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, or Revenue Operations
- Salesforce or Dynamics 365
- 2+ years in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, or Revenue Operations
- Strong Excel & Google Sheets skills
- Familiarity with order-to-cash processes and deal structuring
- Ability to navigate cross-functional environments with high ambiguity
- Demonstrated experience being a strategic thought partner
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail
- Prior experience at a tech company or SaaS organization
- Knowledge of subscription-based business models
- Experience working with Salesforce
- Prior work with enterprise sales teams or in B2B SaaS companies
- Familiarity with renewals and pricing strategies
- Tools & Platforms
- Microsoft Dynamics (Primary CRM)
- Microsoft Excel (Advanced usage expected)
- Google Sheets & Docs
- Salesforce (nice to have)
- Internal sales tools (training provided on these)
