The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of PEGA's business capabilities and a strong background in the insurance industry, including one or more domains such as P&C, Life, Health, or Commercial Insurance.

As a PEGA LBA, you will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and development teams to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and ensure delivery of business value through effective PEGA solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Translate business requirements into PEGA functionality using PEGA's Direct Capture of Objectives (DCO) methodology.

Define case types, data models, business rules, SLAs, personas, and channels in alignment with business goals.

Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout the solution lifecycle.

Participate in design sessions, sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives to support agile delivery.

Partner with PEGA LSA and developers to validate feasibility, prioritize features, and ensure adherence to PEGA best practices.

Lead the creation and delivery of solution blueprints, functional specs, and process flows.

Assist with UAT planning and execution by developing test cases and validating delivered functionality.

Contribute to PEGA solution demos, change management, and training initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

PEGA Certified Business Architect (CBA) certification (preferred).

8+ years of experience in business analysis or functional consulting, with at least 3 years as a PEGA LBA.

Strong experience with PEGA's DCO tools, case lifecycle modeling, and business rule definition.

Excellent facilitation, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Proven ability to translate business needs into functional PEGA design.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in the insurance industry, especially in areas like claims, underwriting, customer service, or policy administration.

Understanding of insurance processes, terminology, and regulatory requirements.

Experience with PEGA Customer Service, PEGA Smart Claims, or Decisioning is a plus.

Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and Jira or similar tools.

Familiarity with ACORD standards or insurance data models
