Senior Network Engineer

Our client in Worcester, MA is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to partner with the head of Infrastructure for the management and execution of network related activities and projects. The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: Network management; installing, configuring, upgrading, and replacing network hardware; network topology; managing projects and 3rd party resources / vendors; identifying, assessing, justifying, and socializing opportunities for improvement, including capital investment; working well with other members of the Infrastructure and Information Security teams; and working with and supporting various areas of the business, among other things.

To be considered, you must have:

• At least 5 - 7+ years of formal Network Engineering experience, including network and hardware management, installation, configuration, upgrading, and replacement
• Vendor / resource management experience
• Experience identifying, assessing, justifying, and socializing opportunities for improvement, including capital investment
• Experience providing advanced network troubleshooting and user support
• Ability to manage network related projects as needed
• Solid verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to effectively and confidently express thoughts and opinions in a professional manner to all levels of the organization
• Experience with a combination of the following: Meraki, Palo Alto, Aruba, HPE, Cisco and other network product providers
• Ability / willingness to be onsite daily
