Overview

We are seeking an experienced Release Engineer to manage Git workflows, lead release processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and reliable deployments. This role requires strong expertise in Git, GitHub, and release management best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain GitOps practices, including branching strategies and repository guardrails.

  • Configure milestones, labels, and PR checks to streamline development workflows.

  • Execute and manage release cutovers, planning, and coordination activities.

  • Collaborate with development, QA, operations, project management, and external teams to resolve branch and release issues.

  • Lead branch cuts, issue triage, and release readiness activities.

  • Ensure adherence to release engineering and version-control best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5 10 years of experience in Release Management.

  • 5 10 years of experience in Release Engineering.

  • 2 5 years of hands-on experience with Git workflows and branching strategies.

  • 2 5 years of experience using Git and GitHub.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex dependencies.

Certifications (Preferred)

  • CKA, CKS, CKAD, and/or AWS Solutions Architect
