Role: SAP BTP Administrator
Location: USA Remote

Role summary
The SAP BTP Administrator manages, configures, and operates SAP Business Technology
Platform landscapes to ensure availability, performance, security, and seamless integration with
SAP and non-SAP systems. The role covers administration in Cloud Foundry, tenant
provisioning, monitoring, incident troubleshooting, and continuous improvement in collaboration
with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
Account Management:
Manage Global Accounts:
Edit the Display Name of Your Global Account [Feature Set A;
Global Account Administration and Manage Resource Providers
Manage Directories: Create Directories and add Move or Remove
Subaccounts from Directories
Manage Subaccounts:
Create / Delete Subaccounts;
Enable / Create Environment Instance and change Subaccounts details
Manage Entitlements and Quotas:
Add new service plans to the subaccount / directory
Edit the quota for one or more service plans
Delete a service plan and its quota from the subaccount / directory
Manage Orgs: Create, Delete Orgs & Add Org Members
Manage Spaces: Create, Delete Space & Add Space Members
User and Member Management: Manage Platform users and Manage
members within the Global Account, Directories, Subaccounts, Orgs, Spaces
(Assign, Unassign)
BTP Service Administration: Create/Delete/Update Service Instances;
Assign role collections to users/groups
BTPonnectivity in the Cloud Foundry: Create Destinations; Manage HTTP
and RFC Destinations
BTP Security - Managing Authentication and Authorization (for customer
IDP / SAP ID Service
Add Users from SAP ID Service for Multi-Environment Subaccounts
Establish Trust and Federation Between UAA and Identity Authentication
Establish Trust and Federation with UAA Using Any SAML Identity
Provider
Switch Off Automatic Creation of Shadow users
BTP Cloud Connector - Cloud Connector Configuration;
Initial Configuration Cloud Connector
Managing Subaccounts (incl. Update the Certificate for a Subaccount )
Authenticating Users against On-Premise Systems
Configure Access Control and Configure Service Channel
SAP Cloud Identity Services
Initial Setup: Obtaining a Tenant; Activating an Account; Manage
Administrators; Enable Two-Factor Authentication
Manage Source Systems: Identity Authentication, SAP Advanced Financial
Closing, SAP Advanced Workflow , SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Ariba Applications

Manage Target Systems
Administration:
Configuring Applications, Tenant Settings , Password Policies, Privacy
Policies , Authorization Policies, Terms of Use , E-Mail Templates; Provisioning

Managing Administrators, Users, Groups,
Integration with existing customer landscape
Operational development support: Configure Secrets for API
Authentication , Unlock Client ID/Disable Client ID Locking, Configure Certificates
for API Authentication , Configure JWT for OAuth Client Authentication
BTP Monitoring
Technical availability: Check availability (PING) using provided API / UI
(REST / OData)
Functional availability: Monitor functional availablility
Resources consumption: Usage of CPU, Memory, Disk and DB Memory
Monitor Application Log, Connectivity, Certificates (Check certificates
expiry date and alert in advance for certificates within BTP
Security Monitoring
SAP Cloud Identity Service: Usage Statistics Report Provisioning, Access
Audit Logs and scan for defined events; Change Log & History Report
Provisioning
BTP Usage & Consumption Monitoring: Usage and Consumption costs
Alerts: Inform clients about Alerts
Minimum qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2 6+ years of hands-on SAP BTP administration with experience working on Cloud
Foundry. Prior SAP Basis experience is strongly preferred.
Proven expertise in BTP environment management: global account and subaccount setup,
connectivity/destinations, service instance management, and user/role administration.
Experience with SAP security management on BTP (Cloud Identity Services, IdP trust,
and role collections) and enforcing best practices.
Strong troubleshooting skills for updates, patches, performance, and integration issues in
complex, distributed environments.
