Position: AWS Java Technical Lead Developer
Location: McLean, VA (Onsite)

PETADATA hiring for AWS Java Technical Lead Developer position for one of their clients.
Roles & Responsibilities:
-
The ideal candidate must have experience in the design, execution, and maintenance of high large-scale Enterprise Application development with Java (preferably Java-8).

Maintain good relationships with Business SMEs, and Product Owners to review the requirements and turn them into technical standards and develop various applications.

Need to be a part of designing and deploying cloud-based Microservice applications in the fast-paced development environment.
-
Experience in the end-to-end development process implementing Application development and conducting code review, guiding other team members and junior/mid-level developers.

Must coordinate with internal and external teams, including business users and product and service groups for the deliverables.

Able to coordinate with cross-functional teams to plan and develop/implement new project requirements, technical design and coding, and delivery.

Should be an expert in Agile Scrum process and develop code and conduct code reviews for other team members.

Need to develop and implement new features from the product backlog with quality and deliver timely to meet SLAs.

Must be an expert in cloud platforms like AWS (Amazon Web Services).

Should be a great team player who can collaborate and provide leadership through influence to achieve the required development organizational results.

Must possess excellent verbal, and written communication skills and coordinate and communicate with different departments.
Required Qualifications:

The candidate should have a minimum of 8-12 years of experience in Java programming
-
6-8 years of strong experience in ESB/Microservices, JSON, Linux, and Python.

5 years of good experience in REST services.

6 years experience in Spring 4 (Core, MVC, Rest, Transactions), Spring Boot.

Strong Proficiencies in AWS, Apache Kafka, Kubernetes, Experience with Microservice Architecture Pattern and Spring Boot.

Strong experience in Linux systems, Jenkins.

Must have experience in software maintenance and support.

Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.

Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex software issues.
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
