Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks for complex enterprise systems in Amdocs environments (e.g., CES, CRM, BSS/OSS).
Write reusable, scalable, and efficient test automation code using Java, Selenium, TestNG, REST Assured, or equivalent tools.
Collaborate with developers, architects, and product owners to understand requirements, design effective test strategies, and ensure testability.
Conduct functional, regression, performance, and integration testing across microservices and enterprise platforms.
Develop automated API testing suites (SOAP & REST) for Amdocs services and integrations.
Drive shift-left testing practices by integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Analyze test results, log defects, and provide actionable feedback to developers.
Participate in test planning, test design, and documentation of test cases/scenarios.
Support UAT and production validation in close coordination with DevOps and delivery teams.
Ensure compliance with telecom-grade SLAs and quality standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
4 8 years of experience as an SDET, Automation Engineer, or QA Engineer in enterprise software development.
Strong hands-on experience in Java, Selenium, TestNG, JMeter, and/or REST Assured.
Experience testing large-scale platforms, preferably with Amdocs systems (CES, CRM, Order Management, Catalog, etc.).
Solid understanding of QA best practices, testing methodologies (TDD/BDD), and SDLC.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle, and Docker.
Familiarity with databases (SQL, Oracle), Unix/Linux environments, and telecom domain standards.
Ability to analyze logs, troubleshoot test failures, and work closely with developers for issue resolution.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on Amdocs delivery projects or systems integration.
Knowledge of telecom business processes (billing, charging, provisioning, etc.).
Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, Zephyr, or ALM.
Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and monitoring solutions.
ISTQB or other QA/testing certifications.
