Suvi Global Services is seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineering Manager to lead the design, implementation, and support of secure, resilient, and scalable infrastructure across multiple classified and unclassified environments. This position plays a critical role in managing hybrid IT systems that support thousands of users across geographically diverse locations. The selected candidate will be responsible for driving infrastructure modernization initiatives, ensuring operational continuity, and maintaining compliance with government security standards. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of both on-premises and cloud-based IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and VoIP systems.
  • Lead hybrid IT environment engineering efforts across multiple classified and unclassified networks and cloud platforms.
  • Coordinate technical aspects of infrastructure projects to ensure compliance with configuration management, environment stability, and cybersecurity standards.
  • Collaborate with program management, application support, and help desk teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on current and emerging technologies, recommending innovations to enhance operational performance and cost efficiency.
  • Direct infrastructure integration efforts for commercially available and custom-developed applications to support business and mission requirements.
  • Ensure system availability, scalability, and disaster recovery preparedness across the government's enterprise IT environment.
  • Support ongoing infrastructure operations, maintenance, and lifecycle upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to business continuity.
  • Maintain compliance with DoD security standards and participate in activities supporting secure access and classified data handling.
  • Provide oversight for enterprise-wide deployments, including configuration, staging, testing, and training related to infrastructure systems.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity and network architects to ensure infrastructure aligns with security, performance, and compliance frameworks.
  • Guide and mentor junior engineers and infrastructure staff, ensuring project delivery aligns with quality, scope, and schedule commitments.

Qualifications

  • Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, information technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years managing hybrid IT environments and 5 years implementing infrastructure projects involving cloud and on-premises technologies.
  • Proven experience in managing infrastructure components such as servers, networking, storage systems, and VoIP in secure environments.
  • Expertise in project leadership and execution.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.
