Genesys Cloud CX Development| Visual Tools
From a high-level Architect's perspective, building voice/digital bots. While having a foundation understanding of variables, loops, decision logic, and switch statements
To build voice/digital bots in Genesys Cloud CX, any required integrations, additional technical skills may be valuable or necessary.
Integration & Backend Skills-
Working with APIs to exchange information with other tools
Writing scripts or code to handle special logic
REST APIs: For connecting to external systems, databases, or services using Genesys APIs (users, conversations, analytics, etc.)
OAuth & Authentication: Managing secure access when calling external systems
configuring and customizing.
Optional but Valuable Programming Skills-
Need additional skills on advanced or customized bot needs to be. For example:
JavaScript Often used when building connectors between Genesys and other systems. It can also help add extra logic behind the scenes (like in cloud environments such as AWS).
Python Commonly used in AI projects. If you're connecting your bot to smart services (like Google or Amazon AI tools), this can be very helpful.
