Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience as a Data Analyst in asset management required.
Strong understanding of data across various asset classes.
Hands-on SQL skills and a good understanding of data pipelines & transformations
Familiarity with data tools such as Aladdin, Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar systems.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in an agile development environment.

Preferred Qualification:
Experience with distribution data preferred.

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support our Data & Analytics products within Northern Trust Asset Management. The candidate will focus on analyzing data related to a broad range of asset classes and on helping build out data solutions using new sources of data.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze and interpret complex data sets related to asset management.
Develop and maintain data mapping and validation documents.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define data analysis needs.
Provide insights and subject matter expertise based on data analysis.
Ensure data quality and integrity.
Provide thought leadership in the financial services data space, focusing on a broad range of asset classes.
Collaborate with team members to design and implement data solutions to support business goals and outcomes.
Help with writing user stories and acceptance criteria
Develop and execute testing strategies and plans.
